Visitors to the Heavenly Affairs exhibition at the Episcopal Palace in Sümeg can use the visual guide application, which is available in three different languages, by renting a tablet on site or downloading the application to their own smartphone (Android and iOS platforms).

The ticket desk closes 1 hour before the end of the prevailing opening hours.
We are open on national holidays.
TICKET PRICES
Adult ticket: HUF 3,000
Local residents: HUF 500
● local resident (holding a Sümeg resident ID)
Concession: HUF 1,500
● children and young adults aged 6-18
● holding a valid student card
● visitors aged 62 and over
● one adult accompanying at least two children under the age of 18
Family ticket: HUF 6,000
● 1 or 2 adults + 1 or more children under the age of 18
Group ticket: HUF 2,400 a head
● for a group of minimum 15 people
● If you are planning a group visit, please contact us in advance using the information provided.
Visitors entitled to free admission
- children under the age of 6
- visitors aged 70 and over
- disabled person and his/her guardian
- group guide of a group of 20 or more visitors
- a visitor with a new type of professional ticket issued by the Ministry
- a teacher working in public education, holding a valid teacher ID
- members of a professional organisation of a nationwide competence with at least 400 members

All prices are valid until further notice. The prices listed are per person and include VAT. We reserve the right to change the price of tickets at any time of the year.
Please keep in mind that the journalist card, which used to grant free admission, is no longer accepted. Only journalists who have pre-registered and received permission to conduct an interview or filming are permitted to access the facility for free.
The exhibition spaces and services are partially accessible to our guests with limited mobility; please inquire ahead of time at our contact information.

Fee of a guided tour in Hungarian
Visitors who have purchased a ticket will be able to participate in a guided tour starting daily at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For groups (up to 15 people), booking can be requested in advance: HUF 10,000 per group
The duration of guided tours is 90 minutes.
A guided tour in a foreign language (German or English) is available on request: HUF 15,000 (for bookings please contact: sumegipalota@nofnkft.hu)
Photo and video ticket: HUF 1,500
(Taking photographs and filming within the exhibition spaces is possible only in possession of a special photo or video ticket, only for your own private and non-commercial purposes. The use of flash is forbidden in the exhibition area. Prior arrangements must be made for press photography.)
Museum pedagogical session
For school groups, those on a school field trip and for campers by prior arrangement, for a minimum of 15 people: HUF 1,100 per head

GETTING HERE
Please type “Sümeg, Püspöki Palota” in your GPS device.
The Episcopal Palace is located at the foot of the castle hill, in the historic downtown of Sümeg.
From the direction of Budapest, take the M7 motorway and then the main road 8. It is easily accessible from the settlements on the shores of Lake Balaton via the main roads 71 and 84. It is accessible from Vienna via the main road 84.
PARKING
It is possible to park a car near the Episcopal Palace on Szent István tér (Szent István Square) or in the nearby Kisfaludy tér (Kisfaludy Square). There is free parking throughout the city centre, and the Episcopal Palace is only a 5-minute walk away.
Parking is available by bus in two locations: Hétvezér tér (Hétvezér Square) (5 minutes walk) or the Castle Parking Lot (10 minutes walk)
BY PUBLIK TRANSPORT
By public transport: the Episcopal Palace is only a 10-minute walk from Sümeg Bus Station and a pleasant 15-minute walk from the train station.
ACCESSIBILITY
Wheelchair access: enter the lower corridor through the main gate and then through the courtyard, where our staff will assist you in finding your way around the building.
On the ground floor, there is also an accessible washroom and baby changing facilities. The inner courtyard, ground floor spaces and facilities of the Episcopal Palace are accessible.
