Visitors to the Heavenly Affairs exhibition at the Episcopal Palace in Sümeg can use the visual guide application, which is available in three different languages, by renting a tablet on site or downloading the application to their own smartphone (Android and iOS platforms).

Please keep in mind that the journalist card, which used to grant free admission, is no longer accepted. Only journalists who have pre-registered and received permission to conduct an interview or filming are permitted to access the facility for free.

Visitors who have purchased a ticket will be able to participate in a guided tour starting daily at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. For groups (up to 15 people), booking can be requested in advance: HUF 10,000 per group
The duration of guided tours is 90 minutes.

Photo and video ticket: HUF 1,500
(Taking photographs and filming within the exhibition spaces is possible only in possession of a special photo or video ticket, only for your own private and non-commercial purposes. The use of flash is forbidden in the exhibition area. Prior arrangements must be made for press photography.)
Museum pedagogical session
For school groups, those on a school field trip and for campers by prior arrangement, for a minimum of 15 people: HUF 1,100 per head

GETTING HERE

The Episcopal Palace is located at the foot of the castle hill, in the historic downtown of Sümeg.
From the direction of Budapest, take the M7 motorway and then the main road 8. It is easily accessible from the settlements on the shores of Lake Balaton via the main roads 71 and 84. It is accessible from Vienna via the main road 84.
PARKING
It is possible to park a car near the Episcopal Palace on Szent István tér (Szent István Square) or in the nearby Kisfaludy tér (Kisfaludy Square). There is free parking throughout the city centre, and the Episcopal Palace is only a 5-minute walk away.
Parking is available by bus in two locations: Hétvezér tér (Hétvezér Square) (5 minutes walk) or the Castle Parking Lot (10 minutes walk)
BY PUBLIK TRANSPORT
By public transport: the Episcopal Palace is only a 10-minute walk from Sümeg Bus Station and a pleasant 15-minute walk from the train station.
ACCESSIBILITY
Wheelchair access: enter the lower corridor through the main gate and then through the courtyard, where our staff will assist you in finding your way around the building.
On the ground floor, there is also an accessible washroom and baby changing facilities. The inner courtyard, ground floor spaces and facilities of the Episcopal Palace are accessible.
